A working session built around three things that actually matter to you.
Most PT owner events give you ideas to think about on the drive home. Or they bring you in to sell you something. This one gives you outputs you’ll use on Monday.
You’ll spend the day working through the three areas where most practices get stuck.
Patients who aren’t completing their plans of care. Where the leaks are, what’s driving them, and the specific changes to test so more patients stay engaged, finish care, achieve better outcomes, and tell other people about the practice.
Team members who’ve lost clarity, ownership, or connection. What underlies the friction, what reasonable expectations look like, and how to build a work environment where your best players thrive and stay.
Owner dependence. The decisions, conversations, and daily fires that still run through you. What to delegate, what structure your team needs, and how to get out of the middle without things falling apart.
You’ll leave with a written 90-day plan that connects all three: what to fix first, what to measure, who owns it, and how to keep it moving without you.
This is for owners tired of being pulled in all directions and not making enough money.
We’ll be putting together in one day what it took me several years to learn on my own.
This one-day Intensive is built for established private practice owners with at least four clinical staff, where things are going reasonably well, but you want more time, more money, and to work more ON your business vs IN your business.
This day is for you if you want to grow and scale while freeing up more of your personal time to focus on the big picture, not stay caught in the weeds.
It’s for you if you truly care about your patients, your team, and your sanity.
This is not for solo practitioners still building a first team. It’s not for owners looking for general inspiration. It’s not for owners with more than 30 team members (you can contact me directly). It’s for owners ready to learn and implement ways to better serve their patients, their teams, and themselves.
Four specific outputs. All built from your practice’s current reality.
You leave with a workbook and a plan. It has all four items, created during the day using your reality and written in your own handwriting.
These are the things that turned my practice profitable and had me finishing up my days at 2:30, after two years of struggling and working 10-12 hour days.
Your Patient Follow-Through Map
Gain a clear picture of where patients lose momentum in your practice. You'll identify the most important leaks and fixes so more patients stay engaged, complete care, and achieve their goals. And that means even more positive word of mouth.
Your Team Engagement Audit
A practical view of where your team feels energized, frustrated, or confused. This helps identify areas causing friction. Connecting patient outcomes to team experience helps clinicians see their work's impact. This boosts their sense of ownership and encourages them to stay with your practice longer.
Your Owner-Dependence Diagnosis
Gain clarity around the decisions and recurring fires that still flow through you. You'll identify what to delegate, what to clarify, and what structure your team needs. This lets them handle more of the day-to-day without needing you to step in each time things get stuck.
Your 90-Day Practice Plan
What to fix first, who owns it, what to measure, and how to know it's working. The single most common thing owners say was worth the ticket price by itself.
Eight hours. Six sessions. One clear plan.
Sturdy McKee
Sturdy built a PT private practice to six locations and 48 employees, sold it, and has spent the last ten years working with practice owners across the country on their hardest decisions. He is not a generic business coach who learned about healthcare from a distance. He has operated in the same environment you are in.
The 6-Hour CEO™ framework came out of that work. It has been applied with dozens of PT practice owners to build clearer operating systems, stronger financial controls, and leadership teams that hold their own accountability instead of pushing it back to the owner.

One day. One small group. A small room means real attention, real conversation, and outputs that actually come from your practice. Not a seminar or lecture hall where you are one of 200 people watching slides.

What exactly happens during the day?
It is a structured working session, not a lecture. You move through six sessions, each producing a specific output: your owner dashboard, a bottleneck diagnosis, patient journey fixes, team accountability tools, and a 90-day plan. You do the work in the room and leave with a completed workbook.
Is this only for larger practices?
You should have at least four therapists (and/or assistants) on staff. Better decisions have greater impact at scale. The session works best when your practice has enough volume and complexity to get a big return on your investment. If you are a solo practitioner or still building your first team, this day is probably not the right fit for you.
What do I need to bring?
Your numbers. Specifically: revenue per visit, monthly visit volume, payroll costs, and overhead. Ballpark accuracy is fine. A laptop is helpful but not required. Everything else is provided.
What if I register and cannot attend?
All ticket sales are final. Unfortunately we're not able to offer refunds for cancellations. If you cannot attend, you are welcome to transfer your ticket to another qualified PT practice owner, or apply it to other services offered by Sturdy Coaching, LLC.
Can I bring my office manager or lead therapist?
This event is designed specifically for practice owners. But we know that sometimes it makes sense to have your partner and key employees attend, as well. You may purchase up to 4 tickets at the link. If you think you want to bring a key team member, but would like to discuss it first, reach out directly at sturdymckee@gmail.com.
Can I sponsor this event?
Yes. We'd be happy to have you. Contact Sturdy directly to discuss.
Will there be future events?
This is the inaugural PT Owners Event. If it is a strong fit, it will become an annual program. The best way to secure a seat at the next one is to come to this one.
Happier Patients. Happier Staff. More Profitable You.
